ECC and its parent 501(c)3 Bootstrap received coins at a value above the operating-expense level for Q2 2021. During Q2 2021 Bootstrap received coins at an average of $1,438,000 a month and incurred average monthly expenses of approximately $655,000.

As part of our due diligence, we embarked on sentiment gathering, market research and economic modeling to better understand the possibilities of ZSAs and tradeoffs of different approaches.

Agoric could be game-changing, both in itself as well as for ZEC users. Now that the Agoric mainnet has launched, we are ready to take the next step of bringing Agoric and Zcash capabilities together.

In ECC’s coin-holder poll, participants strongly supported changing Zcash’s mining algorithm away from proof of work as their first priority as measured by weight, receiving 85% of the weighted vote.

And we’re planning for a big January release of the Halo Arc product suite, including the NU5-compatible Zcashd, an updated ECC Reference Wallet, updated mobile wallet SDKs, and features that will enable Zcash to be Shielded by Default.
